I'm going to be in the Tampa-Sarasota area in a few weeks, from what I understand MZ will be hitting store shelves during the upcoming week. What is the distribution like? Do I have any shot at landing some bottles at all? cheers and thanks! PS - I will be at the brewpub as well, not sure if those bottles will hang around that long though
yup was planning on it, worried the bottles might not make it that long though. I just saw another post where somebody said they have a lot for purchase so who knows, i'll just keep fingers crossed.
Hit up Leuken's Liquors if you can't find them at the store. I can pretty much guarantee they'll still have plenty -- plus, they've got a really good selection of other things.
In the past, Zhukov has hung around Tampa area stores for a couple of months. These days every release seems to disappear instantly, so I don't know that last year's release is any indication. I'd try some places in St. Pete if you strike out in Tampa. They usually last longer there.
He's right. I met I guy last night that just got back from CCB he said that they told him they only have about 60 cases left. Compare to when I was at CCB last Saturday they had four times that. It seems like the cases are flying out the door. Good luck brother.
Does MZ make it as far a SC? I'm going to Charlotte and then possibly myrtle beach from nw Indianer at the end of this month. Would mind driving for some. possible trade for fff stuff.
Well Whole Foods Boca had some last night apparently, but they were out by the time I got off work. Guess they only got one case. I've been hounding TW Boca Raton but they still don't have it in yet. I just hope when I call them again the answer isn't: "Oh yeah we just got that but it's sold out"
Just at Total Wine in Wellington. They had one case still on the loading cart. I cracked it and grabbed two. All the tw in PBC usually get their stuff on the same day..... I only saw one case!
The Total Wine here in Orlando let me advance order it, and held six bottles for me to come in and pick up. Try asking the MOD or the service counter guy........
I'm glad I at least got one. Hope they make more next year. Next year I'm gonna see about ordering an entire case in advance.
Last year in Sarasota MZ was around not only for a couple weeks, but for a couple of months. Seems this year folks have realized that it is a great beer, a great price, and reasonably distributed. Amazing to see how this year demand has substantially increased.
Only for special draft tastings with the CCB crew as far as I understand it. I haven't heard of any bottles or cases being shipped into that area. But CCB did just do an epic tasting in NYC but it was all kegs.
Is there anything near Flagler beach? I'm in town from Indiana and have no clue what areas you guys are talking about. Thanks for any help!
Thanks! I got a couple bottles from Brounys. You guys have some solid beer stores down here! I ventured into Jacksonville and discovered Grassroots!
