Maastricht to Amsterdam - anywhere to stop in between?

    hey,
    i have a day and night to kill between my stay in Maastricht and Amsterdam. I'm heading to Belgium later in my trip. Wondering if there's anywhere in Netherlands or Germany that is worth making a stop at (beerwise or not)?

    I would go to Tilburg by train and the to the abbey of Koningshoeven, La Trappe!

    and I've booked my ticket and will be in Belgium for around 2 weeks. fun fun!
    will visit the Vleterens on Saturday and go to this festival on Sunday.
