    heh. I think I may know a few you're referring to. Totally agree. Never a good indication of quality.

    I feel the same way about Russian River. All of their labels have Comic Sans.

    I saw a single bottle at Hubbels in the Woodlands yesterday. I already have a few bottles and was looking for something else so I left it there.

    I've never had Clown Shoes' beers before so for my first tastings of it we're sampling Vampire Slayer, 2x Luchadore En Fuegos & a Porcine Unidragon. Started with a bottle of LEF and I'm liking where this is going. Oh, we're also grilling beef fajitas, chicken legs and shrimp to go with it.

    IMO, this beer is better fresh outta the cooler. As it warms the barrel takes over the flavor profile. Would buy a bottle just to let it get some years on it.

    Didn't get a chance to have Black Crack but I prefer Chocolate Sombero over Buried Hatchet.
