Good evening ladies and gentlemans. The Peruvian Morning scare has prompted me to test out one of my last few bottles. I've been infected with deliciousness. What are you fine folks drinking?
I finished off my Growler of WY-P.A. So damn good. I had an Odell IPA after and just finished a Samuel Smith's Organic Lager. A fine brew in its own right..
I started out with a couple of cans of Apollo... I just opened a bottle of Hoptimum for my nightcap...
Celebrating my mother-in-laws birthday. And my father-in-law and I are keeping it classy with the champagne.... ....the champagne of beers!!!
Started the night off at dinner with a Double Trouble, now just finishing off a DFH 60min while trying to figure out how to putty into a limited user account in ubuntu from Windows 7... Any help out there? I really should go to bed, but SO want to open another beer. What to do what to do?
Going with a small growler of a (kind of) local brew tonight. My bottleshop just got a few kegs from Against the Grain in Louisville, KY. This is Oaken Dagger. It's a bourbon-barrel aged Biere de Garde and a brand new beer to this site (exactly 1 review!). I'm pretty much smitten. I'm sure I'll be drinking a few other beers from ATG over the next few days.
Starting with a BBC Steel Rail with dinner and now a JP...First night in Ma., going to enjoy a few beers i cant get back home the next few days...all in my new glassware. . . .
Holy Crap! I remember G.W.A.R! I saw them play at The Brewery in Raleigh, NC when I was in college! They were awesome! I've never seen so much fake blood in my life. Funny story. One of the guys I was with told ``The GWAR woman'' that she was the most intensely beautiful woman he had ever seen in his life. She grabbed him by the crotch and said ``Rats. Looks like I have to throw this one back.''
Started with a FFF Alpha King Deviant dales to follow. Clown Shoes Vampire Slayer is up next and wow.....Delish brew.
I went to "Zen's Garden", a local organic shop, just to try their sam smiths organic. The talk was good, and they hooked me up with the box that the beer came in . I'm drinking a publix 6 pack: albita purple haze, red hook ipa, hoptical illusion, sam adams imperial stout, shiners black lager, SN sumerfest
well, let's see here... it started out with some heady topper courtesy of eatabag (thanks, ted!) followed by... zombie dust, then another zombie dust, then a blend of Matilda & 312, then a blend of Fat Tire & Dirty Bastard, then a blend of Levitation and Oberon, then a blend of Root Beer and Sunking's Cowbell, then a blend of Oak Aged Chocolate Yeti and Zombie Dust, and finally a snifter of Double Trouble (I was at a bar that was doing tastings of blended beers). All in all, it's been a full night and it's only 8:30. I'm throwing in the towel. Good night! listing to an all-time favorite singer-songwriter:
After some bun bo and a bit of pho, my last Mother Earth Weeping Willow Wit. Not the best witbier, but a solid brew. Think I'll have a Black Perle next... It's a cover night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgFQ6WmxdMs&ob=av3n http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWChhdIgT6Q&ob=av2e http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egX9ZDaIrkU&ob=av2e http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAt9QTmVc7Q
Began with some Awww Jeah, then the last Double Trouble in the fridge. I'll miss that brew a lot until it returns. Cheers.
stone old guardian, 2010. probably should sit on this a bit longer, hop monster that it is, but i'm in the mood for a nice straight ahead american barleywine. pairing with some roasted vegetable ravioli in red pepper sauce. highly suggest the sauce if you're local and like red peppers.
