Drinking my first Dark Lord in celebration of the Tigers “pending” victory tonight against the Yankees. Soooo Sweet!

Just getting ready for the Yankee game, enjoying this 18mo old Fade to Black, Volume 2. I think the smokiness has died down a tad, but it is still very good.

Lagunitas daytime IPA to start.
Nowmim having a dogfish Punkin ale.
Up next chocolate oak aged yeti Fremont Great Divide.

First, Eclipse Grand Cru. Honestly, this beer is a little disappointing. Not as good as EC12 or Buffalo Trace blend.. and not in BCBS, Abyss, or Parabola's league.


Thankfully I can always count on Zombie Dust to deliver.

Missed out on posting anything for the Afternoon Beer Advocate, but went on a tour at Half Acre and had a couple pints of Daisy Cutter there. Then went to Local Option to watch the ND game and had a Central Waters Bourbon Barrel Stout on tap...

Finished up a Red Hoptober a little while ago and just popped a 2011 Abyss to celebrate my birthday. I know it's no "whale" but I love this shit...one of my favorite liquids on the planet. Cheers all!
