God, I hope they put it in that size as one of the formats. I would feel like a baller with one of those.
It sucks we have to wait that long for some Sucks, but I guess we have to suck it up! Glad they realized what a phenomenal brew they have on their hands.
I'll agree, this is good news. There are plenty of IPAs and DIPAs on shelves already so here's another. (better than most for sure) I wish they'd brew their Imperial Red year-round. There is a shortage of QUALITY widely available hoppy Red beer out there currently IMHO.
Lagunitas has really stepped up with some of their new stuff. I'd like to see Pils/ IPA/ Pale go and make Sucks, Imperial Red, Brown Sugga year round.
I imagine those 3 beers probably make up 95% of their overall sales. I see where you're coming from, though, I've become less enamored by IPA over time but it's still a quality affordable go-to.
Yeah, I'm guessing most of the people that buy their IPA, Pils, and Pale are not really into the whole craft beer thing, just looking for a tasty, affordable beer.
Real good news. I just picked up another growler of Waldo's Special Ale. Another good start to the weekend.
Damn. This Sucks (pun deliciously intended)! I may never drink another beer once this goes year round!
Way sold. My spot never got any of the leftovers so it ended up just a tease. Glad it will be back for good.
Primus Sucks... Lagunitas Sucks is AMAZING. cannot wait. this will be in my fridge at all times. i LOVE this beer.
I've never bought a case of beer. I will buy a case of this. My 2nd favorite beer behind FBS. So happy about this.
And their new brewery is opening up in Chicago next year as well, which is where I just moved. I could get used to this!
I would swear I saw an interview where the IPA makes up a gigantic chunk of their sales. Personally, I dont like it.
Mark me down as another very happy person that this is back. It was one of my top 3 favorite beers of 2011.
This is really bad news for 2 hearted and torpedo as my fridge will be seeing much less of them once this is a year rounder
this beer blew me away last year and will be in my fridge indefinitely once it is released again later this year.
That's what it said in the other thread started on the same topic weeks ago, I just can't find it. EDIT: Found it http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/lagunitas-sucks-32oz-and-year-round.12774/
I think it's so popular because it's more readily available, at least in my area (Mid-Atlantic/NY). My local grocery store stocks it, so it probably appeals to the casual beer drinker looking for something that's a step up from Natty Ice.
