Just come to the 2nd Sunday bottle shares at The Gingerman. You'll meet quite a few of the people on the boards.
Second Sunday as mentioned before. It's usually at The Gingerman in Rice Village. Great group of folks and you will get to try some beers that will blow your socks off.
Sounds like a great time. I fucking hate socks! It's not a everyone-knows-everyone-else-and-I'll-feel-like-an-outsider sort of thing, is it?
Just show up. Lots of times random people at the bar will walk over to have conversations and try some stuff. Everybody is welcome.
Unfortunately, I was only able to get one since I had my wife running out to get it for me. But thanks to her I get the opportunity to try this beer. I need to find some Yule Shoot Your Eye Out when I get home next week, I never got the chance to try it.
Must be most place around downtown. I drove all around Clear Lake the last time I was home and never found any. I will have to drive right past Spec's on Smith St. to stop by our corporate office so that should be a good excuse to stop in and check.
The funny thing is I just got an email from my wife saying that they had three cases of YSYEO on the floor of HEB and the lady offered it to her so she bought me some. No need to go looking for it anymore. I got a pretty awesome wife.
I know I'm a bit late with the information, since it was posted on Facebook last night but, the shell station on FM528 got in some Fra*gee*lay. I'm not sure how many cases they got or how much is left since I got mine earlier that night.
They actually had Yule at the HEB Fwood along with the Fragile..... but it was in a case... the beer lady told me about it when I asked for Fragile... so I bought a bottle of it also... and now I see that you got it.. ha.. Dang.. I ALMOST stopped by the SHell last night... drove right past it.. but my son was tired.. so I didn't... boo me.
My wife actually went into the Shell station after she left HEB, to buy me some more Funk Metal, and they hadn't put out the Frageelay yet. Quiet a few people on Facebook were unhappy because they were just in the store and were told the Shell station wasn't getting any and then they made a post on Facebook saying it had come in. According to my wife a different guy was running the place last night instead of the normal clerk.
I paid $21 a 4 pack. $4$ shouldn't include shipping since there is often quite a bit of gas involved in chasing beers. It's all relative.
