They haven't had any limits on their first two bottle releases so I'm not expecting one this time either.

Doubt there will be a limit. Malus and 365 were unlimited and both made it into distribution. The buzz about Kane hasn't made it to the hype train yet. Plus it's not a small batch beer, there will be ample amounts.

What kind of brew is this? If it makes it to any of the shops that got 365 I'll pick one up

BA Stout, I believe its the beer that made up the stout component of 365, although it would have been aged longer to this point?

Considering all of the people that went to Harvest Moon of all places for a BA stout/barleywine release, I don't even want to think about how crazy Kane will be this weekend. Hope Mike and crew are prepared.

    From their FB page:

This Saturday, April 27, we will be releasing A Night To End All Dawns in 750ml bottles at the brewery starting at 12pm. A Night To End All Dawns is a 13.0% Imperial Dark Ale and will be $16 a bottle. The beer began life as an imperial stout and was transformed into a massivedark ale during 15 months spent in bourbon barrels. The extended aging allowed seasonal temperature fluctuations in the barrels to draw bold flavors from the oak that can only develop with time. The heat of the bourbon gave way to a subtle caramel sweetness, and the bold, sharp edges of the roasted malt mellowed and married with notes of vanilla and oak. Belgian Candi Sugar in the kettle created a layer of dark fruit complexity and an extremely dry finish. Hope you enjoy. See you Saturday.

I didn't personally go, but I'm fairly certain the allocation sold out crazy quick

I would assume this release would be much larger than the Harvest Moon release.

Agreed, and not to slag on other breweries, but my point was now when you slap the Barrel Aged label on there everyone comes flocking. And with Kane making exceptional beers, I can really see this being a crazy release.

Plus, some folks have been lucky enough to try it on tap at a takeover and loved it. I've been waiting for this for some time now.

I think a few folks are going to the Voodoo release in PA, so that may knock a few people off the line.

I am considering heading out to Kane, definitely would not even think of going to the Voodoo release even though it is closer.

I had it on tap in September at their anniversary party at Barcade. I can only imagine how much better it's gotten consider it's had a few more months in the barrels.
