You're right, talk about an extreme high bar being set. You crushed not only the beer, but also the food items.

Did my first round of shopping last night and grabbed 72 ounces. Have 87 that I plan to pull from my cellar. But if I am going to compete with BJohnson, it looks like I have a long way to go yet!

Picked up 154 ounces so far, hitting 4 wants. I'm trying to track down some more beers that I think are to my targets taste. So far he's been pretty active in this thread.

BJohnston just set that bar amazingly high though. Impressive haul.

My target still MIA, but did get him a want that is on everyone's list (if it's not it should be) I only had to trade my first born child for it....

Ncaudle, glad you liked the box. The second Saison Brett is an 09. Date should be on the back label.

This BIF is off to a damn good start! Let's keep it up!

Gotta agree with match1112, laxer8811 has sent two killer boxes thus far. I would expect no less this round.

I think I've got all the beer together for the box at this point, except for hopefully snagging a fresh growler of a fantastic beer that doubles as one of my target's Wants. Working on the swag and the local food item... this can double as a hint: I thought I had a killer local food item, only to learn that my target's state is one of the few places other than CT that you can buy it. :(

Hope you enjoy! Be sure to plop a few scoops of ice cream into one of the root beers.

I have a couple food items in mind for my target two of them are beverages...I may be exiled from the site for shipping them in my box though :( even if I occasionally enjoy them while watching the O's or with steamed crabs.

1 - not made in MD anymore and 1 - that recently started showing up on MD shelves again

    Anyone know them?

Shipping today--local food item and glassware to follow in a separate box, either late this week or early next week, but I didn't want to sit on a fresh growler.
