Brewery Creek may be getting in some beers I'm interested in later this month. If you could run down and do a pick up for me I can make it worth your while. Some Half Pints, some Bruery Beer (White Chocolate or Sour in the Rye type stuff, maybe something else), or even buying you something from Brewery Creek, whatever works best for you. Ideally someone who can get to Brewery easily either around the 21st or 28th of this month. Those are supposedly the possible release dates.

For logistics, you'd hold the beer until it warms up. I'd send a styroshipper for you to put it in and send back. I'd also email a PDF file with a pre-paid FedEx label. You'd just need to pick up the beer, pack the styro, print out and slap on the FedEx label and drop it off. Oh, and for the beer, I probably will have to paypal or money transfer (Royal Bank is the easiest) as I don't think Brewery Creek takes credit cards over the phone (but I didn't ask).

    Thanks in advance,
    Ted
  2. How many bottles are you looking for?

Probably 8 750ml bottles. I tend to use 12x750ml styroshippers and usually never put "big bottles" in the corners (12oz heavily wrapped/padded ok though) so that leaves 8 slots for shipping 750's...

That an an interesting concept on shipping... is this because you've had corner packed bombers break in transit?

I've never had anything break yet, but I've had some boxes get to me with some pretty smashed up corners. I figure 12 x 750ml is around 40 pounds of weight, so taking it down a little bit and making it closer to 30 (with 8 x 750ml, plus 4 x 12oz in some cases) just seems like erring on the side of caution to me. Or, maybe I'm just a bit paranoid/overcautious! :p
