Word on the street is there is no "special new" bottle release this year. Instead, GI will be selling tickets for a special event that is like an amped up version of the BCS Tasting event from GTOM. $75/person will get you a flight of BCS Variants (unknown as to which at this point) PLUS a 2009 BCS Bomber PLUS a new piece of BCS-branded glassware (I believe it is a snifter).

Plus, we all know what Vav is doing across the street.

The event will be on Black Friday or they will be selling tickets on Black Friday?

None what so ever. I hear the hold up to date has something to do with the glassware order

Hoping for online...on sale on Thanksgiving. No tickets just name at the door

...that would be best for me financially. November is a busy beer month!

75 bucks for one bcs flight, bomber, and glass seems incredibly high - maybe it's secretly one of those nutty all you can drink events like belgian fest...

Itd be cool if it ended being more than just a bomber of 09 bcbs.

    actuallly, i shouldnt say "just"

Assume $25 price on the bomber based on some retail places recently and GI's own flight program. Maybe $10 for the snifter? Depending on the size and number of the pours, particularly if you get a pour of Rare, i dont think $40/flight is outrageous at all.

If this is true, then I wonder if the glass isn't a snifter, but the small nonic glass they posted a pic of on Twitter.

I would hope not. The brewpub has been using that glass for ages for their various events. Just with the name of the event printed on it. Hopefully it would be something brand new at that price point
