Hey gang, We'll be staying at the Beverly Hills Residence Inn/Marriot on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night. Can anyone recommend some decent places to check out in the area? We'll be on foot or taking cabs/public transportation. Any spots with Pliny, other good IPAs and bourbon barrel options, as well as a good selection of bourbon and scotch would be a plus. Lastly, are there any good record stores worth visiting in that neighborhood? Cheers!

You could head up to Amoeba Music in Hollywood- Sunset and Cahuenga, and then walk a block up Cahuenga and get a burger and beer at Stout, would make for a nice escape from Beverly Hills...
Take a look at what golden state has (small tap list, but always some interesting choices, might have Pliny bottles though). Also City tavern in Culver City and Steingarten LA arn't too far.
