Haven't had one in about 6 months - dropping off? I had Abacus a month ago and that had clearly dropped off.

I live 45 mins away from the brewery. I can go to any proper store and find all their beers. I'm lucky.

2 cases showed up in RIC, both left within the hour - lucky to get one!

I always suspected that Firestone-Walker's Proprietor Series repelled gravity.

Hit up Bevmo Fairway. Had 3 cases tonight (Friday). WF , TW, and Nugget were no go's unless it was hidden.

$12.99 at bevmo, whole foods, and total wine in sacramento just ask for it, one per person and they keep them in the back.

So i finally opened one tonight.

When i first had the original Abacus i was blown away. Since then ive had about a thousand distinct beers.

    This is basically the best.

(and I was a tad underwhelmed by Sucaba 2012)

I know a place where I can buy whatever they have left at $15 a pop if anyone can't get their hands on one and wants to trade.

Had it on tap last week, then did a side-by-side with '12 and'13 last night. IMO, the 2012 blows this years' away. Still a great brew, though!

Angel's Trumpet Ale House in Phoenix. They did a mini tap takeover- Rufus, Helldorado, Sucaba, among their flagships. It was pretty freakin awesome!

Where in Cambridge? It's definitely not on shelves at the Cambridge store I frequent.

Whether it's 2012 or 2013... Sucaba's been a huge want since I discovered English style barleywine.

I think the poster was referencing the Anniversary (FW XV, XVI) beers @ $22-25. The Proprietors reserve (Sucaba, Parabola, DDBA) beers tend to go for $15-17.

I found it in huge quantities last week at total wine in Rancho (easily 10-12 cases on the shelves). I'm assuming the OC ones will be getting it this week in bulk.

If you are in the middletown area I'd also check Spirits, Whole Foods and Wine Academy in Hazlet I believe they are all on the same route.

Sadly, I haven't seen it since around Christmastime. Some places got a ton of it and apparently couldn't move it, like Cardullos in Harvard. That place gets some great stuff but doesn't seem to move it.
