Everything Freetail

I'm making the trip from Chicago for La Muerta. Which day is the bottle share, Friday or Saturday? I'll add some stuff to the list and am happy to bring bottles for trade.

Anything else interesting going on before, during, or after the festivities on Saturday? I'll be in town Friday through Sunday.

Bottle share is Saturday morning before Freetail opens. Starts as early as people get there.

If you feel like driving to New Braunfels they have Wurstfest going on that weekend. Its their Oktoberfest celebration, tons of food and beer.

Sounds good to me. IMO it's more about getting together and sharing some nice beers, it doesn't have to be something rare.

Bring money, lots of it. It is fun though. Just don't get arrested, I don't want to see anyone here at work on monday.

It seems like this is going to be a lot of people's first Freetail bottle share. My recommendations are, drink a lot of water, there will probably be a lot of beers and even one ounce samples will add up. Secondly, make sure to eat some thing before you leave.

I agree with this. Water is the key to being able to stand by the time Freetail even opens.

Anybody selling/trading La Muerta in ATX, not able to make the trip.

Anyone hear anything yet as far as bottle limits? The last thing I heard/read was Scotts comment that they basically didn't know but that was a month or two ago.

Usually around 8 or 9 AM. Bottles will be opened through out the morning.

As early as you feel is necessary. General rule of BA is you don't announce when you are going to get to a bottle release if there is going to be a line

This one there isn't as much concern. Besides bottle limits on the first go around everyone should be able to get their take home prize(s).

I'm rethinking my growler...I know a couple people have chimed in as wanting to try Blood and Honey. After having another glass this past weekend, I recognize that it's good...it just isn't great. So that part MAY change, otherwise I think I got a few more bottles to add later this week.

I'm looking for a bottle of 2010 La Muerta for a vertical. Anyone going to La Muerta Day want to set up an IP trade? I have 2012 Bourbon County to trade!

Also, updated my list a little bit. Have a bottle that will pair well with one of miikezombie's if he makes it out.

If you swing through Austin on the way I can offer up a 2010 La Muerta. I have some 2011 as well.

Looks like I might, but I probably won't know for a day or 2. Which really sucks. Would have liked to bring some 8x10s for an autograph session.

Yes, on the majority of it atleast. If it is something special on tap then no, but normal stuff they will for sure.

Scott tweeted that there may be no bottle limit this year and ~$10 each.

Well my darkness bottles won't make it to me before I leave town so I won't have that with me. But a 4 pack of coffee bender is on my packing list.

If you check the board at Freetail it will tell you. General rule of thumb is if it comes in anything other then a pint then no growler.
