I am heading to Freetail on Friday night. If anybody wants to setup an ip trade with a NW guy, let me know. I'm only looking for Freetail stuff, La Muerta, Anake, etc.
Homeslice-eritos: Thanks for the feedback on the way we did the bottle release this time. We were trying to make things more effective than "the line", but it didn't really turn out that way and it looks like everyone likes "the line" better... so we'll go back to that in the future! Thanks for being patient with our experiments, and thanks for being generally radical. Cheers, Scott
Whatever's clever. Heck I know order sheets might be a slight transition, but when we showed up we could place our order and get a numerically ordered carbon copy. Boxes could be readied ahead of time....of course this could take away from your teams ability to enjoy the bottle share. But if I already have my order sheet and my box is ready I don't have to dog pile into line and can just pick up and pay for my order at my leisure without be afraid of losing that limited release.
Did you ignore all the Blueberry Ananke chatter to keep us all wishing? Either crush our dreams or give us hope!
Drinking a Hop F with brisket tacos tonight. The peach hop profile is just amazing..it smells like a Peach O candy. Hats off on this brew
Just make your own. Next time you go to Freetail and they have Ananke bring some blueberries and squeeze them over your glass
We can make our own blueberry syrup and bring it with us....then we will have a table exclusive Blueberry Ananke...ultra rare
Just opened my first of 2 bottles of Hop F tonight. This stuff is amazing! Wish there was more to go around. Delicious.
I've always had the need to sneak some really good beer into the Majestic and then share it with the people next to me.
Sounds like me yesterday when my wife dragged me to see the new Twilight movie at Alamo Drafthouse. Thank Zeus for pitchers.
Four American Brown Ale ABV AND IBU VARIES On Black Friday 2008, Freetail opened its doors for the first time—literally ten minutes after we got the draught system operating & without any of our own beer on tap. One email was bold enough to call our opening the “stupidest thing” they’d ever seen & predicted our demise within a month. Fortunately, that prediction has missed the mark by at least forty-seven months as we celebrate our fourth anniversary. To commemorate, we present this robust German Chocolate-inspired brew, made with toasted coconut, cocoa, and an array of caramel malts. This ale is dedicated to all of you who have supported us throughout the years and to our dedicated team who make it all possible. FOUR MORE YEARS! -Scott Ingredients: pils, munich, vienna and caramel malts; just a kiss of hops; top-fermenting yeast; natural, limestone-filtered, Edwards Aquifer H2O; birthday suits
Since I am going to my parents place next weekend for Thanksgiving, I will happen to be in town to pick up some Freetail. Crazy how it works out like that! Guess I will sneak away for Lunch on Saturday to enjoy whatever tasty beers they put on tap and pick up some bottles of Four and La Muerta (have a hard time believing there is still some left).
When we were there last week the La Muerta was filling a good part of the fridge (probably 50-ish bottles) and they also had 2 taps with it (2011 & 2012).
So you're saying that I went to that giant bottle share and got drunk at 9 in the morning for NOTHING?!?!
