Is any of this left in Dallas? I know I'm a bit late to the game... just hoping there still some floating around out there...
Specs downtown Houston got another batch yesterday. Picked up 2 last night, about 10 left on the shelf at that time.
I picked up a couple bottles at Total Wine in Dallas last week. It looked like they at least 6 or 7 left. Good luck on the hunting, it's delicious.
I've about given up. I can't find a Specs that has this. The beer department lady at Jones/290 told me that the she was mad she didnt get any and that the Midtown location told her distribution was up to Stone. I'm pretty sure that means they at hoarding this and gave the most ridiculous lie I've ever heard. Stone has no care about what Specs gets what. Specs is getting to the point where I'm going to stop shopping there.
Had this several times now, It's damn good! I'll stop midtown specs tomorrow, I hope they still have some. Dreads dude always hooks it up!
San Antonio - The Saucer and the Friendly Spot both have Enjoy By on tap. World of Beer got a couple kegs too, but I'm not sure if they've tapped it yet.
World of Beer in Stone Oak will have Stone's Enjoy By 12.21.12 next week. We are hoping to tap it on Monday. That way we ALL can enjoy by 12.21.
Has anyone seen this on the shelves in Houston the last couple of days? I don't want any to not be Enjoyed By the desired date.
Is there ANY left in Austin? Down to my last bottle, which I was hoping to improperly store it in my outside closet and take a picture with the newspaper on 12.21.13 and send to Stone Greg to see if I could make his head explode. Just kidding!
I tried for 3 weeks like I said. I think I just had rotten luck. That and the Midtown Specs was stingy with it. They missed quite a few stores when they sent it out even though they had it on 2 occasions. I also had bad luck that I couldn't go out and get any on tap. D'oh!
Just bought one in Denton at the Metzlers on University. They had about 4 left. Clerk said their shipment only arrived last week.
Total Wine on Hulen had a bottle of this sitting on the counter near the beer isle this afternoon. Yeah i know it's 'expired' but i bet it still tastes great!
In other news, tried 02.15.13 at their brewery and MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN! was it fresh! My enamel was screaming "UNCLE!" the entire time! That is a gorgeous brewery though, sight to definitely behold at least once in your life as a craft beer guy.
Just finished off a 3 Lt growler of 12-12-12. Have this awesome growler now and hope that bars around AZ will fill it.
When I was at the Alamo Drafthouse Slaughter Lane last week... they still had this on draught, believe it or not.
