And enjoy it! Happy anniversary beer can! http://blogs.smithsonianmag.com/sma...-canned-beer-went-on-sale-78-years-ago-today/
The mobile canning line is a great idea. I know it is very common to see mobile bottling lines in the Napa Valley wineries.
don't have any On a positive note, a good friend bought a 4pk of ten fidy for me..... I will drink to the can soon
I believe the coned ones were used by breweries that didn't want to put in a separate/new canning line - they could be filled on a regular bottle line with some slight work instead of the whole new shebang.
Ahh wish I still had some Jai Alai to drink. Alas not a whole lot of options besides Miller Lite in Wisconsin... just Oskar Blues comes to mind.
Great idea..... Abrasive, Marooned on Hog Island, Jai Alai, Furious, Hop Crisis, Deviant Dales.... what to pick.
All of Tallgrass's offerings are in a can in WI. Buffalo Sweat, Velvet Rooster and Oasis are usually pretty plentiful at my local Woodman's. I can highly recommend the Sweat and Rooster - not a hop guy so no dice on Oasis.
I probably won't be drinking any canned beer tonight, but I bought some Sixpoint 3Beans earlier today if that counts..
Well, okay...just saw this and I'm just finishing an Upslope Craft Lager prior to going to a big bottled smoked imperial rye...I do like how canned beer is so enjoyable these days, whatever the beer style...
Just popped a 2010 Ten Fidy. Incredible!! AND I still have a whole other 4 pack! Life is good Cheers from chilly NC.
Curses, I drank my last canned beer that I had in my fridge last night! Oh well, I will be buying some Sixpoint 3Bean tomorrow =)
Trying to decide....Diesel stout or Ten Fidy? Love Ten Fidy but I've never tried Diesel before and I'm anxious to try the 2 cans I picked up....
