This beautiful black liquid has landed in Colorado! We have a visual on the suspect. Just bought some at Hazels in Boulder. Liquor Mart has it as well. Even if it's only 3/4 as good as 24 and 25 I'll be ecstatic!

We got some in Casper and imho, it does not live up to previous editions. I blame the addition of cranberries.

I'll pick a few up, since this is the first beer that I ever "cellared" (the 21 I think?) and it'll be fun to drink one alone, one along with the 25, and one more to build a little vertical (unfortunately starting with 25, so I got a ways to go).

Does the price on this beer keep going up every year?

All of the Deschutes special releases seem to have been increasing every year for the past few years, I remember Abyss and Black Butte Anniversary being $11 or $12 in 2010 and now they're $17 or $18. Disappointing, I still grab a couple bottles of Abyss but I no longer stock up on the special releases.

Alright...so I've historically been mixed on the BB anniv beers. Picked up the 26 tonight (at Whole Foods Boulder -- $13 including tax!) -- and really enjoyed it. Liked it cold and even better as it warmed...

Either way...one guy's opinion, but it was pretty nice I thought...
