Random thread but figured it couldn't hurt to ask. No ABV listed here or on RB. No ABV listed on the bottle or on Dark Horse's website. They don't even have an email address listed to ask them.

Anyone with magical powers know what the ABV is? Figured maybe someone here was associated with DH...

    Throw it on your refractometer.

There is the regular Militiagan which I picked up a growler of a few weeks ago at the pub -- I believe it is 9.something.. around 10. The big bombers of Militiagan from 4Elf are barrel aged (although it doesnt say it on the label). I dont think the regular Militiagan is BA-ed so if its the barrel age Militiagan it is probably higher ABV.

Any horse experts out there? Otherwise just throw em a question. Just be sure you know if you're asking about the BA or regular version.

Good call on the facebook site, it looks like they do comment a lot. I posted up a question, will see if they answer.

Interesting. I was looking forward to this beer, until I tasted it. I did not buy any bottles.

I was definitely one of a few in our group that liked it. I cracked a bottle last night, it was as good as I remembered.

I was the other one. I thought it was great. Definitely the best 750 they sold.

They were pouring non-BA Militiagan at the party. Bottles are BA.

    Really?

I had it gifted to me (didn't go to the release) and had it one evening (only beer, sobriety in full force) and thought it was DELICIOUS. I have liked quite a few Wheat-wines, so the general style was up my alley.

Just reviewed it tonight, it was excellent. Gave it a 4.2. Wish I had picked up more bottles when I was at the brewery (I live in Boston so no chance at a revisit).
