  1. and this time i am determined to track down some pliny the younger.

i have a liquor store i visit in glendora called lonehill and i can always get pliny the elder, however you have to ask and its brought out from the back. he has never had the pliny the younger so can anyone here give me a hot tip on somewhere to check out?

ill be in LA mostly around the downey and west covina areas but ill be mobile with a car so a little drive/adventure wouldnt be frowned upon lol

    thanks for your time

Younger is never bottled. And why does a store that leaves stuff in the back have a 100 BA rating?

Unfortunately, Pliny the Younger is only available on tap, once a year in early February. As PeterJ mentioned, it is never bottled, and is not even available in takeaway containers from the Russian River brewpub.

It is fairly common for good beer stores to put limited releases "in the back" so that you have to ask for them specifically. In such cases, the store will often have limits on the number of bottles you can buy at one time.

Anyway, it's been a while since I've visited Lone Hill Liquors, but for years they've maintained the kind of selection which earns them a rating like that.

Please try a number of other hoppy Cali offerings. This is not just Pliny country. We can list them for ya if you need

    P.s. go gunners
