A few pics from a recent brew day and tasting event. Cold didnt stop us, although presented challenges, and the tasting was pretty extensive. Reviews were all over the place which was expected but almost unanimously the biggest surprise was the Bourbon Barrel Aged Smashed Pumpkin from Shipyard. The Hills Farmstead Abner DIPA really shined.

We had all sorts of beers to sample including a bunch of home brews.

There was a Torpedo Xtra IPA clone brewed and also a Bud clone. The latter was requested for a bachelor party.

    Nice!

Tho the one time I had shipyard pumpkin, it was terrible. Maybe they improved it for the new recipe?

Tastings are expensive. I see several in your pics that I've had. Delicious!

Well this was different than any other Shipyard ive had. Its not just Pumpkin ale its Bourbon Barrel Aged Smashed Pumkin. I think they make like 350 cases.

The one I had was straight shipyard pumpkin, no barrel aged.
