I just stopped to pick up some beer at the Branford Wine location by the Big Y when the nice lady told me they had just got some BCBS. Naturally I had to pick on up. They only got a case...it's gonna go fast. I've never had it. Looking forward to cracking open a bottle.
Oh. My. Gawd. I'm not a bourbon drinker so I wasn't sure how this would go down for me. Delicious that's how. It feels so good in the mouth. There is a lot happening here that more knowledgeable BAs can speak to. For me it's simply an amazing stout.

Grabbed a 4-pack ($24.99) at Total Wine in Milford, also the 11/7/12 date. Drinking one right now, and it's amazing.
I'm also a little suspicious that CT distributors could take a beer from bottling to shelf in 7 days but it is definitely drinking fantastic as ever.
For those in Central CT, I just left Manchester Wine and Liquors and saw a stack of about four cases in their storeroom.
Yeah I was workin last night.. Been doin split shift stuff there 6 hours during the day and 4 at nite.. Didnt get that job in htfd so BH has been giving me mad hours.. Got my bcbs at coastal though cuz those r my boyz up there I know they look out.. Felt great when I bought it but started feeling a cold comin on by the night.. Still had to crack one last nite and thought it was lovely and knew I was gonna be sick the next few days... So today I'm sick as a dog brotha.. I prob won't crack another until next week.. : (

Thanks for the tip on this. Grabbed a 4-pack for the low, low price of $25.99. I was able to snag a couple of Stone IRS's so that partially made up for the price jack on the BCBS.
