BEST "readily available" beers by region thread

    Flying Jenny is their best offering IMO...my knock against Leaning Chimney is that it is a bit too bold flavor-wise for me to drink it all night long...I have one then move onto something else. I've got big hopes for Foolproof...

    These breweries are close to home and some of my favorite, but the names still make me laugh Flyingffishdogfishflyingdog, thats alot of Flying Dogfish's.

    Blue Point Hoptical Illusion or Oatmeal Stout.


    I haven't had enough Southhampton Publick or Long Ireland to include them but they have some nice seasonals.

    Anything from Revolution (my favorite is their Eugene Porter) and Half Acre (favorite is their Daisy Cutter Pale Ale.) I'm not sure how well distributed outside IL they are, but I can get them here just about everywhere.

    Those are the biggest 'local' brewers. We also get probably the best distro in the country so you could find just about anything.

    Captain Lawrence: Freschchester Pale Ale, Smoked Porter, Captains Kholsch, Liquid Gold, IPA, Captains Reserve DIPA (pretty much everything they make is awesome to be honest)
    Bluepoint No Apologies
    Sixpoint: The Crisp, Sweet Action, Righteous Ale; again pretty much their whole lineup.
