Agree this was a solid offering, but they have other similar beers, at least.

Both *might* be brewed again, hoping so with Fort so I can try it, but not going to hold my breath.

Sam Adams Hallertau Imperial Pilsner, Goose Island Imperial IPA, Ivory Coast Mamba Malt Liquor.

Still got some of the first two in the fridge, where they've been for years. Probably aren't good anymore, but I like knowing they're there.

Mamba came in a 22 oz bomber with white foil over the cap and an alligator on a gold label. The brewery burned down during a civil war in Africa. A shame. Best malt liquor ever. Like Elephant, but with a hint of seaweed (in a good way).

Last week I saw a bottle that got mixed up with some sparkling wines I had in my cellar. I was psyched because I thought it was an original bottle of Heart of Darkness, but it turned out to be a Thumbsucker. Best before 2003? We'll see about that.

You have some serious self-control, sir. If I had any of either of those first two, they would have been long gone.

Thanks. Got two of each left. Pulled them out a year ago to taste, and they were still good enough to drink.

Found a Mamba on ebay last year. It wasn't drinkable. Too bad...

I've taken to stockpiling them, buying them wherever I can find them. I figure since they're a one-off, I can age them and sell em for a bit more (or enjoy them!) later.
