A couple of places in Ann Arbor have some, but most places haven't seen it yet. I suspect today was the first day of drops for the county.

I paid $24 and was happy about it. Compared to some of the BS pricing I have heard in the Detroit area I got a steal. ;)
The way I look at it, I could go out to dinner with the wife and have a barely drinkable import for $7-$8 for a pint, or sit at home watching the Tigers choke drinking my $6 dream. And if you are paying by the ABV its a huge steal at $6/bottle.

Mac's Liquors in Wyandotte had 6 bottles of BCBS left as of last night, selling singles at $8.99 a bottle.

I agree with this...but on the other hand..Avery BA series are pushing $8-11 a btl I think...RR sours are over 10 per 375ml in my experience....and we keep paying :)

Scicilianos' still has plenty of BCBS as of yesterday (Wed) afternoon.

No doubt. $119 profit for a single case of beer is not bad, eh?

Hey, now that BCBS is easy to obtain, I'm hunting a Big Bad Baptist.

A damn good beer the BBB is, but not that hard to come by down Ohio way. If someone can get a growler of the spruce tip beer that Short's has on right now headed my way, I'd send the baptist to you!

I'm fairly certain that the Short's Spruce Pilsner is long gone by now.

baptist is sitting on the shelf at my local about 2 cases of them 13.99 each

Yeah that's what I said, then declined the offer and went elsewhere! LOL!

Yup, best thing to do there. The most I saw it for was 24 a 4-pack. That is absolutely ridiculous.

Just got these from Whole Foods in Ann Arbor!!

When I went to check out the cashier rings up the bottles, and says $12 whatever it was ($5.99 each + tax & deposit). Then he looks puzzled and asks me "Did you take these bottles out a 6-pack because that price looks too high." I assure him that $5.99 is the correct price per bottle, and that it's a limited release beer that is not even out on the shelf, so 2 bottles is all the beer/wine manager would sell to me. I thought he was finally gonna let me pay and get out of there, then it gets really good...

He's still a little puzzled that a bottle of beer could be so expensive so he starts to examine the bottle. "Wow! 15% ABV...that'll get ya going! To get that ABV I bet it's brewed with triple hops." I just had to laugh!

No wonder he thought it was too much, he's used to paying $0.50 for a can of piss.

I would hope this is at the Washtenaw location. I stopped at the one on the west side yesterday and the woman behind the "bar" gave me this response "we don't carry any goose island". I'll drive back up there just to discuss it with her if need be :)

This was the Washtenaw location. The Cranbrook store seems clueless about beer releases in my experience. I was at the Cranbrook store this weekend and asked the guy at the "bar" (if we are going to call it that lol) about BCBS. He never heard of it, but looked it up and told me it was here in September (WTF!?!?!). I just left and didn't question it. The Washtenaw store seems to get a lot of turnover (different person every few months), but they have all been pretty good about releases. Just ask the beer/wine person (usually in the wine area).

EDIT: FWIW, I know at least one BA who has indicated good experience with the Cranbrook store, so maybe we're just asking the wrong person.

Hold Up! I live next to this place (WF Cranbrook) and go here frequently. Sadly, a few of the people working the beer counter don't know what's going on. However, ask for Jen or Evan and they'll help you out. Jen is awesome. She stashed me a BCBS that I drank at the store today.

The eagle has landed in TC as of this morning. It's going to be a good weekend to stay inside and watch the rain!

My local store in GR had 7-8 cases. $21.49/4 pack. They also had Founders Furniture City (3-4 cases) and Bell's Goes to 11 (3-4 cases as well). Good haul today!

I didn't get it all at one place, but there are a few stores mentioned in this thread that sell it with no limit.
