Bay Area places that are bottle share friendly

I'll be up in the bay area next week. Oakland on the 1st and SF the next 2 days. I have a fresh growler of Societe Pupil that needs drinking and can bring other locals. I don't think Central Cal gets Societe so I'd be happy to pour it off to the locals if anyone wants in. First glance tells me Beer Rev/Triple Rock/Trappist on the 1st and Toronado/City Beer any of the other days.

I'm most flexible on the 1st. Are those places cool with that? Anyone want to do an IP for locals (not sure what I have you can't get and vice versa.... BA AleSmith stuff for RR Sours?)?

We'll we're on a new thread... I'm pretty familiar with he SF side of the bay. What should I hit on Tuesday the 1st while in the East Bay that I haven't mentioned? I'm pretty bummed Drakes is closed on Tuesdays. Loved that place when I was there. Wanted to check it out again.

Beer Rev and Trappist are your best bets in the East Bay I'd say. You could check out bottle shops (such as Ledgers in Berkeley) and/or take the BART to Concord to visit Ale Industries.

I'll be working at Beer Rev on the 1st from 6pm to closing. It's likely we can rally the troops for a little bottle share.

Fuck. FUCK!!!! I was just in Berkeley and drove past Beer Rev. I suggested we stop in, but my fiancee was convinced it was closed, so she said no. Now I'm back in the Peninsula...

FUCK!!! WHY DOESN'T BA HAVE AN APP SO I CAN CHECK THE FORUMS AND SEE THIS &@$&^%^&#

(Did they have any Pliny? Too soon?)

I'm pretty sure Beer Rev is open every day of the year...ha ha.

(And I'm upset I missed the end of the Pliny story...or lack there of)

    Good info to tuck away.

Me too. I went to the gym and returned to find a "post deleted" warning and the thread gone. Good way to ring in the new year...

Agreed. That thread had so much information. You could learn where to buy beer in BFE Central CA; what counties make up the Bay Area; and when to buy Pliny during holiday weekends. Shame it had to go.
