The problem is when line cutters appear. The 2011 CFH release, this was a big issue. Last year they passed out tickets much earlier and it wasn't a problem. Also, they had nearly 2x as many bottles so showing up as early and the fine line cutters (there are alwasy a few who sneak in) didn't have a big impact.

As for a big party? Alesmith line releases were great for being able to drink in line. During CFH release (really the emphasis is the Renaissance event) there are some people drinking. But Ivan has asked there not to be as the place is right along a busy road, and police did come by to check out the line. It would suck for Ivan to get in trouble and possibly have to shut down the event just because some people cannot wait a little bit to drink beer.

I think if everyone knew for a fact that they were going to get bottles that's how it would be. The threat of being shut-out is what generates the rage.

I think the rage comes form the fact that some people wait in the line for hours only to see some jackass dive into line in front of them.

Yeah that is fine in theory until all the BA's with their mules in tow to sell beers on ebay get shafted, then they get angry. Then non-sellers get angry about all the seller mules. Then everyone gets pissy. Normally I would say they get butthurt, but that was already used in this thread. I guess we could say that release was loose butthole?

I really hope the ease of buying the bottles is not reflected in the Rare flavor contained within. Meaning it won't taste as good.

You can select desktop site somewhere on the mobile page!

One way to get around that is to use Chrome, which allows you to switch to the non-mobile site on your phone. It's a terrible experience, but works in a pinch.

I would advise against using iphones in general because they suck at web browsing. Force you into their custom browser all too often.

Got some. Luckily I saw this thread. Heard about the release and had been searching bpt events for alesmith, speedway, etc and didn't see anything. So, thanks, and I only got 2 of each so take it easy.
