i missed out on this last year, and i'm hoping not to repeat it. apparently binny's south loop and lincoln park are already sold out. anyone spot any anywhere else?

Just got off the phone with Binny's on Grand, Dave told me Tuesday.

LP Binnys sold out in an hour. SL Binnys lasted a day, with a 2 bottle limit.

I hope I can find a 4 pack along the way.

If you're willing to travel, I got a 4 pack at Evanston First Liquors last night. Gotta ask for it, they got a very small amount.

Is there a list?

I wasn't told about one. Last time I had to get bourbon county from them they mentioned it right away, so I assume not.

SmallBar Division just tapped theirs, so guess that's where I'll be in an hour or so. Expecting to be disappointed -- that way maybe I'll actually be pleasantly surprised.

Side question: where does Founders get there barrels from for this? And their other barrel aged beers?

Berkot's in New Lenox had a few 4 packs on the shelf this afternoon. Might have to go pick one up tomorrow aftering seeing how fast this is selling elsewhere.

It sounds like it's as scarce as 2012 KBS was. My local Binny's is only getting one case, so they'll be selling individual bottles.

You're best bet would be smaller liquor stores off the beaten path.

I don't know how they do it, but they always seem to get the foudners limited stuff. For a grocery store, i love their beer selection.
