They told me at the carry out that you have to smash ur bottle against a ba dl to activate the hologram ... I'm just sayin... As far as the autograph, nick Floyd is willing to sign bottles for a $50 fee.
Will he sign it with the blood of a young lamb? Why don't I see wax dipped wine bottles or hear of people queueing for wine like we are for beer? Why??
BA Behemoth was never sold for $30? I assumed it was at some point because people on FB were bitching about 25% annual price increases. I vaguely remember seeing it for sale at $35, but didn't say anything.
I agree some have been awful but have really enjoyed most including cabra, conquistador de meurte, BA behemoth, murdad out, even BA topless wytch was pretty tasty...and of cours the BA darklords are fantastic...that being said there is bully guppy and their attempt at sours which are just horrible.
Supposedly (from the guy working the to-go counter), this is a different batch than what was at FoBAB.
Yep. The red waxed bottles from last spring were $30 at the DLD in person sales at the brewpub. The BA Alphas Klaus variants were $25.
I might be off on one or two of these: 2012 - burnt sienna 2011 - timberwolf 2010 - jungle green 2009 - cerulean 2008 - eggplant 2007 - dandelion 2005 - tickle me pink Don't quote me on those but I'm pretty confident that's the rundown.
FFF is really lucky to have such a "loyal" local customer base and that "loyal" customer based is really lucky to have a brewery that treats them with the utmost respect and charges them fair prices. What a WIN-WIN situation for both.
nope, it was for sale for 30 bucks when they sold DLD tickets on a sunday morning. And I have proof!!!!!
Damn no Zombie Dust for sale then either! I guess the only thing that's changed is inflated prices. I was able to score a BA Behemoth on one of those brewery ticket sale days and it was def worth the $30 imo. Don't know if I'd do $40 tho.
So...with a markup of a third of the price, this means Dark Lord will be $20 this year. You have been warned.
seems like that's well within the $/oz tolerance. http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/oz-breaking-point-on-beer.65278/
