A fairly challenging quiz, with 96 beer bottles. Some nice craft representation in there, too. I got 60/96, and felt okay about that result. Tough to see many of the bottles due to the image size. http://www.sporcle.com/games/druhutch/bunchabeers
Only got 37. Most of the ones i didnt get I have never seen, though. Some i recognized the label, but never noticed the actual name of beer
I also got 72. If you answer some correctly, it just ruins your chance to see a harder one next to it...
45. Piss poor execution, but after looking, I think I really only missed 10 or less that I should have been able to ID. Agreed about poor view. (Then again, maybe it's just old eyes. lol)
71. It's not set up that well; when I answered some correctly, the name covered the next beer, making it impossible to see. Still pretty fun though.
Major Sporcle addict here! I'll have to play this tonight, my work blocks Sporcle (go figure, i can go on a beer site but not a trivia site )
Good point on brand recognition, since I'm sure most of the people attempting it aren't beer geeks. There were several beers that have very limited distro like Saint Arnold and Tallgrass, plus a cider and NA beer.
71. As a geek, I was kind of annoyed that the quiz wasn't consistent about using either the brewery or the beer. "Victory" and "Dogfish Head" (I got annoyed when they didn't accept "Punkin") but "Dark Lord" and "Pliny the Elder." Oh well, no matter. I guess BAs haven't bombarded the quiz yet, since only 2.3% got Dark Lord.
63.. agreed that some are hard to see, especially if you guess the one next door and the name covers it up.
