The wife and I made a day of it today and toured wonderful, snowy Vermont. Made a couple of excellent stops:

Fans were blowing and the aroma of hops was intoxicating.

Those two breweries are so near each other it'd be almost a crime to visit only one. It's definitely a great whole day event and you get to pick up some nice things :) (it's a 6 hr, 400 mile round trip for me so I decided against it )

They're an hour 10 from eachother in ideal conditions. Not exactly next door. It's not like Maine Beer and Allagash that are across the street from eachother. Now add 2 feet of snow and windy poorly or non-lit country roads with darkness coming at 4pm. But yeah if you made sure you get to the Alchemist as soon as they open, because if you don't they've already sold out of beer, then yeah you better do both.

I did the same trip on thursday during the snow. A few times I asked my self what the hell I was thinking driving the WRX through a foot of unplowed snow on dirt roads 4 hours from home, but at the end of the day it was well worth it and a memorable trip.

Looks like I lucked out and went between the snowy days. Left around 8 AM and added Rock Art on the way to Hill Farmstead from The Alchemist. Good day with friends.

Might as well go for the trifecta on the day Warren Store gets Lawson's.
