So ...if you haven't heard, Crescent Crown is bringing 50/50, and that presumably means Eclipse, to AZ!
This week supposedly! Happy holidays to us!

Check the usual suspects. I expect Papago and Flanny's to have it first.

    Cheers!

I hoping to get some for Christmas. The price is a little steep for me right now.

$30/bottle.... I hope this is wine or bottles of single barrel bourbon.

I was just thinking about how funny it is that I bought a 750mL bottle of single-barrel Buffalo Trace Bourbon the other day for $20... $10 less than a beer that merely soaked up its' remnants.

    Marketing. Wins. *slow clap*

Thanks for the LOL. I really like BT also and it's incredible bourbon for the price. :)

Well more for me i guess...or I'm the sucker...either way. I got some and i have no regrets. I also don't drink liquor so there's that. Its still lingering in a few locations for those that care.

GCM has a goodly number of each for $28.99, if I recall. I haven't convinced myself to pull the trigger on any yet at that price, but then Black Xantus is about as boozy as I like.
Luwak, have you tried several of the varieties? Any you'd recommend over the others?

Haven't tried them yet. They are sitting around... waiting...
I'm most excited about the Elijah Craig

I've had two of them so far. Loved the Elijah Craig, the Bernheim Wheat needs a couple more years but will age beautifully.

The Elijah Craig 12 Year is fantastic, though I do feel $28.99 was a rather extreme price.

Man I can't believe that these are just sitting on the shelves, waiting to be grabbed. Heard it was a fantastic beer. I know in Austin it would be flying off the shelves, even at that price point.

    You guys are lucky!

Yep. See above about price for an actual bottle of the relevant bourbons. Kinda silly, in my opinion.

yeah but who the hell wants to actually drink bourbon or purpose?

I was just in DC, and they are just sitting on the shelves there too. Price point was even higher - $33 I think. I couldnt do it.

    Shelf walez, bro.

I dunno man, $30 is something that hasn't even been tested in Austin. I don't think I've ever even seen a beer go for that much here (besides magnum and above size bottles).
