Anyone know if this is getting SoCal distro?
Limited but yes... This week should start seeing some.
I'm sure that the liquor store near me will grace me with the opportunity to buy it for +/- $30.
That sucks. Pugachev's Cobra was only $17.99/bottle at Total Wine. $30/bottle for Hammerhead? #FleecingOfAmerica.
I don't know what it will be but $30 seems to be the new price for anything with "barrell" in the name.
These were 17-20 last year, Pugachev's included. Sprouts had them for 14.99!
Sprouts?? Another store to keep track of.
Anyone know if its still for sale at the brewery? or how the crowd was at the release?
Bradley's in Tustin posted they are getting their shipment tomorrow FYI.
Bought bottles of it at BevMo last year.
I expect some Whole Foods and other local shops will have it on the shelf. Funny, Cobra was just sitting there for days as I eventually picked up a half dozen of them anywhere between $16.99 to $18.99
Shelf whales, brah.
This just released this week.
Anyone know what the bottle count was on this release?
Not sure but from what i heard this is a very limited compare to last year.
Hacienda in Brea's got em. Saw a few bottles left earlier today.
I wasn't sure if I should reply to the 2nd Post or yours... Either/Or you are correct.
Also correct that there is less than last yr. 40 cases for OC.
@#@ :hashtag: drinkfreshorage?
Little bit hot fresh, but IMO ages better than sucaba. Opened a bottle around the pugachevs release and the heat had faded a bit without losing much barrel character. Ymmv.
Age it. The beer is a bit hot when fresh and mellows out a bit later on.
I walked into Whole Foods in Tustin yesterday. There were 6 bottles at $17.99 on the shelf.
About 3900 bottles.
TotalWine Brea still has about 10/12th of a case left in their walk-in cooler. The box is just sitting there, alone, unmarked, unloved...
I'm around the area.
Im around the area (Anaheim). I'm gonna give that box some love.
ha. well, it is hanger 24. A brewery who isn't known for whale bait trade fodder, so of course it gets glossed over.
Thankfully those of us who like amazing beer know what's up.
I grabbed what looked like the last bottle at Hi Times on wednesday.
Hammerhead is liquid gold.
I picked up a bottle at Totalwine Brea. There's about 4 or 5 bottles left.
It's not the last bottle.
Thank you for giving a bottle a good home.
It's hitting Sprouts... for some reason
They must be keeping the rest in the back then because I was there again last night and the shelf spot was still empty.
Another place no less than 5 miles away got another case last week.
