Any word on this yet? If memory serves, last year they released it a few days before the actual event.
damn why dont they just tell us the suspense is killing me guess will have to go drink some Younger tonite
Excerpt from their email: Some of those include: 2 Turtle Doves, Filmishmish, Snicklefritz, The Wanderer, White Chocolate & Black Tuesday, and many many more!
Poor beers. That's about as bad as being called ..."and the rest!" so the rest of the list will be the professor & Marianne of the list. Great.
Yeah, bad move in hindsight. My recollection from last year was that it was posted first on some other website (fullpint or something). I was hoping someone could chime in if the info were out there.
That's true, but I think it was about 3 days before the fest, so here's to hoping we know by tomorrow, or thursday.
Ah ok. Well, I guess it's a big event, so they still have a lot of brewing ahead of them between now and Saturday.
Exactly, have to prime up the flux capacitor to go back a year to barrel age some of them 12 months to be ready by this Saturday. Heavy.
This is correct, it was released to Fullpint about two days beforehand (I already posted exactly what happened in the main thread). As I said before there's really no need to ask, as soon as it hits it'll be posted in some thread here.
From today's email: A sneak peak at the tap list for the Celebration: - Black Tuesday - The Wanderer - Smoking Wood w/ Chipotle Chile - Oude Tart w/ Boisenberries - Several new Black Tuesday variations - Washington OC - 2 Turtle Doves - Brown Creeper - Barrel Aged 4 Calling Birds - Lots, lots more!
- Smoking Wood w/ Chipotle Chile Jesus, I guess the original wasn't gross enough. That's some Fear Factor shit right there.
Now, seeing as this went out to RS members... I hope these are all for everyone... Do they have tags telling you what styles etc they are when you are there?
last year they handed out little flyers which had the beer breakdown for each station. They stacked the most desirable beers at just a few stations and in no particular organization, so a few places had long lines while others were virtually empty. All in all it wasn't too bad, but it would be cool if they put each of the BT variants at a different table or something to distribute the crowd a bit more.
It's the Reserve Society Initiation event...? Everyone will have access to everything anyway, but you should be either an RS member or be going with an RS member.
Didn't they hire an events coordinator? It would be cool to understand the parameters and contours of this $50 per ticket party when tix go on sale, not a few days before the event. Life, career, house, kids, pets etc. . . We'll just have to have ourselves a lil mini Bruery tailgate for the Nevada Wolfpack baseball home opener (doubleheader!) this Saturday morning instead. Growler of Humulus Lager, some bottles of Oude Tart & Bourbon Barrel 4 calling birds. One month exactly til March Madness fellas! http://beeradvocate.com/events/info/59304
Cool, I'll include my unwashed camping clothes as packing materials so you can fully immerse yourself in the beer's aura the moment you open the box.
I thought the same but was trying to double check and couldn't find it actually posted anywhere on the RS website on their facebook or any emails that I skimmed... I just wanted to confirm.
