    To my BAs in L.A.,

I'll be visiting briefly next week and I'm hoping someone can point me toward a bottle shop within L.A. proper where I can find:

    Russian River stuff
    Alpine stuff
    Sculpin
    The Bruery stuff
    Lost Abbey stuff
    Firestone stuff

Just want to get the best CA has while I'm there. Where's my best bet? Appreciate all and any recommendations.

Knowing where you'll be staying would be the best way to approach this.

The shops listed above are, to my mind, the cream of the crop in LA. My personal favorites are Wally's, sunset beer co, and vendome, with Bill's in Atwater honorable mention, but you can't really go wrong with any of them. Wally's has the cheese box which has awesome, fancy ($$) cheeses breads meats and sandwiches, at sunset you can drink beer there and bring food in, but other than that you should mostly go by convenience.

My vote goes to Stearns Liquor in Long Beach (in addition to the list above)...also don't get your hopes up for Alpine.

If you end up in Venice be sure to swing through and check out Beverage Warehouse's huge selection.

Huge, yes. Overpriced and unhelpful staff? Yep, that too. (sorry...they've burned me too many times for me not to take a shot at them...)
