I don't want to rank them, but I would say that my favorites are the following: Alpine Nelson, Duet, Lagunitas Sucks, and Imperial Red. And most recently I have realized just how much I love Lagunitas Hop Stoopid. I think that Lagunitas is becoming my favorite brewery because of the the balance of quality, variety, and fair pricing.

Limited to the amount of beers I've tried but Labyrinth Black Ale is my current favorite. Mmm.. I almost want to run out and buy another bottle.

Rochefort 10, Alaskan Barleywine, and after that it's hard to pick a favorite. Maybe Cuvee Van De Kaiser Blauw or Yeti RIS

Samuel Adams Millennium is one of my all time favorites that I was lucky enough to try.

Well until recently when i started getting into trading and was mainly getting shelf stuff from las vegas i really liked knee deep tanilla porter. then i went to san francisco and had pliny.. changed my world. Then that same day i had Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere on cask... really good. Then i started getting into trading and had ZD... and that beer has literally blown my mind.

Best beer I've ever had is basically the question here...I'll go with Love Child 2 or Rochefort 6.

Vague, I know. What I mean is what is the beer(s) you go to when you just want a beer that's drinkable as hell, yet still packs flavor. Or a good gateway beer that you still enjoy. Anyways, for me it's Bell's Amber Ale and/or Great Lakes Eliot Ness. How about you guys?

For me it's Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, I had my first one in Mission Beach CA in the early 90's.
    When I want a beer it's SNPA

Too many to choose from in my local pubs.Going out in half an hour to one, don't know what will be on the pumps but it will be good. Tasty but which will leave me functional for the rest of the day after a few pints.

Right now for me it's Kane Head High. Unfortunately, those outside of NJ will have a tough time landing it since it's not yet bottled, but just an amazing beer that I will put up against any single IPA for both taste and drinkability.

Yes, two pints of St.Austell Tribute in perfect condition and a pint of Butcombe Blond also beautifully kept. Absolutely lovely stuff which slipped down so easily. And I'm set up to do all sorts of things this afternoon despite the beer.

When I can't make up my mind on what to buy at my favorite beer store, I always go for an English bitter; an ESB if I can get it. I usually pick up a Fuller's ESB or a Wells Bombardier or something along those lines.

Most likely this. I love big/unique beers as much as anyone but SNPA is something I can always count on and I generally always have some in the fridge.
