Just let me know if you'd like to come with, I'll be going up regardless.

Actually, I've got a Tired Hands growler if you want it.

Any update on how many bottles of Elaborative #1 and Prolegomena are on the shelf and any chance they will last until the 27th aka their next release?

I assume they will sell out sometime this week, if not on Saturday for sure.

    But that's assumptions :stuck_out_tongue:

    Cheers

Wondering the same thing. I had been planning on banging in sick that day literally for months now. Wife and kids will be out of town, so it works well for me. It was a pleasant surprise to see the bottle release the same day, but I'm making a few other stops and will be on a tight schedule. Hoping this being a Thursday will keep some of crowds down.

Anyone from the Marshfield area heading up in the next week or so? I just got back from VT on Monday and, just my luck, a re-release of La Vermontoise is announced the day after I get home. If someone is willing to grab me a bottle and bring it by the store I'd love to reimburse you for the efforts.

This would be an interesting experiment. Doesn't Alesmith usually allow something like a 8 week pick up window? Doubt it would that long, but a window of any kind in August could work for those going to the FoFA and those (like me) not lucky enough to get tickets.

Anyone know how much Elaborative is left? Curious if there will still be some left over at the beginning of the release Thursday.

They updated the site today. It must have sold out over the weekend.

I couldn't find this searching the forums, but is there anywhere that drinking will be allowed tomorrow? Since there's no tastings we were thinking about bringing a couple bottles to share, but don't want to bring anything if it's not going to be permitted anywhere.

Last I heard no pouring license was obtained. Drinking beer outside of sectioned off areas (which there will be none tomorrow) is likely to get you booted as they can loose their license to sell and get them some hefty fines. Great way to piss shaun off though!

Ok, I know there are sectioned off areas at least for certain things, so that's why I was wondering. I saw someone bring a bottle to share at the Elaborative/Prolegomena release to drink where they were doing tastings, for instance.

Word, I can not answer that question! Things are pretty tight up there, hopefully they will surprise us with kegs of flora + CD6!!!

This still seems to be the case. They were reminding folks to stay either in the building or in the tasting area with the samplers.

There was still a lot of Elaborative #1 on the shelf early this afternoon (I'd say 30+ bottles, limit of two) - no bottles of Prolostomy to be found.

Wow, I'll be excited to grab an elaborative tomorrow. Heard great things. I wonder how many folks will be there for a Thursday bottle release with two week lead time on actual allocations... I'm sure quite a lot!

So a last minute meeting at work is keeping my from hopping in the car to trek up to VT.

Any there any BAers out there NOT planning on going the full allotment and will split some with me? Bottle cost plus extra goodies go to the kind soul. I know the trading forum doesn't allow ca$hmoney to be thrown around, but in this case it's the bottle cost at the shop and no trade is being had. Sorry if I'm still breaking a rule :slight_frown:
