Leave them be. They offset people that tend to overscore everything (which I could be accused of). The only people I think need reported are those that score all 5s or all 1s, I remember seeing someone do that as they wanted to log what they drank but did not want to score it but they had to select some number for it to register.

I have to go with weiner too. The ratings do seem to be a little unreasonably low on many beers and I'm not quite sure what's going on with his/her palate, but as long as there is no "agenda", I don't see a problem. It's not like he/she gave everything a 1. He's just offsetting all the people that rate too high. I tend to think most "average" scores are usually on the high side anyway.

Someone actually using three as average. Don't see this as a problem.

Why on earth would you care about how someone else reviews beers ? If they were reviewing a place and putting in all kinds of erroneous information, thats one thing but --everyone has an opinion--let this guy have his --wouldya ?

I think the problem is more due to the exclusive use of "hads". Can't get any idea of the context or thought process. You can't tell from a number why somebody scored something "low". If you sort the list, about a third are positive rDevs, including some of the "icons", and the average seems about a 3. There doesn't seem to be a pattern of particular beers or breweries being "slammed". I dunno...if it was all ones or all fives there would be more of a problem, but a couple written reviews might give a little insight. If it was just downrating "hyped" beers, wouldn't the Pliny's have negative rDevs?
