So I was thinking about whether there should be separate listings on BA for different vintages of a beer, for a couple reasons. One being despite a recipe being essentially the same between vintages, people often note varying quality (Dark lord comes to mind) The other reason, and more important in my mind, is that brewers often tweak recipes between vintages. Take 4 Hands Bona Fide Imperial Stout, last years release tasted like aspirin/chemicals and received mixed reviews, the recipe was changed for 2013 and it is greatly improved (similar to Peche Mortel) I suppose one downside would be that the sheer number of beers on BA could become hard to manage if there were separate listings. What do you guys think?

Completely agree. I think a lot of people, myself included, use this site to track their beer inventory. It would be nice to see that I currently have a 2011 Parabola instead of just a Parabola. Might be helpful when people are looking for potential trading items.

Would love to see this implemented.

Highly highly doubt it will be.

Additionally, in the Wants/Gots, would love to be able to include quantity. For instance, I currently have 2xParabola, but, as far as I know, there is no way to track that.

Separate listings would probably be difficult to manage, but I think reviewers should include all information (dates/codes/"vintages"/etc.) from the bottle in their reviews.
For the record: I haven't reviewed any beers on here but I do read them.

I'm in favor of separate year listings on seasonal brews and one offs. Similarly, wines are listed by vintages, so should beers be also. Just my Fiddy Sence. RNB
