The Weather Channel says one thing, AccuWeather.com says another...wait and see I guess. It'll probably be somewhere in the middle.

 

what the hell is that crap? my local weathercast was calling for a great weekend during this morning's newscast.

thankfully it's not too hot because we have the humidity of a rain forrest right now.

 

Boston has been having weird weather. It could be hot and humid but there's this constant cold wind blowing around. Then it's supposed to rain but it doesn't or it's very little and spotty. There's no such thing as an accurate forecast in New England during May. It's better to wait right up until Saturday for the weather report.

Is anyone going to HF on Friday and the festival Sat/Sun and willing to grab a spare growler of anything on tap? I'll be at the festival Saturday and camping out that night to stick around for the bottle release.

I tried a trade post in the trading forum and all I got were snarky posts trashing my thread...I'll pay for it or gladly trade a Tired Hands or New England Brewing Company growler. Only looking for one 750ml of basically anything they're offering at HF. I'll reimburse you if you aren't interested in a trade.

 

Damn, I happen to be coming in to town the week after this! I am coming from Portland, OR and stopping in Asheville for a few days first -- if anyone would be kind enough to get me any of the bottles at the release I will bring anything you desire that I can get my hands on from out west and/ or Asheville, and I will reimburse! BM me if interested! I will arrive in Burlington next Wednesday.

 

Yeah, etched is from forever ago. My etched stem and wine glass are definitely two of my most used.

 

Anyone know if they are handing out glasses for this fest? And if they would be willing to part with theirs if they are? Ive been trying to get a hold on one for awhile. I have both White and Grey glasses that they sell but would love to add this to my collection.

 

They are including a tasting glass in the cost of the ticket. I am sure someone will be willing to part with theirs, may want to post a pre-trade in the glassware FT forum.

 

I just read that they are not doing growler fills on Sunday.

 

That was the plan from the start, pretty sure.

 

Already ahead of you...ive wanted this glass since november when I saw it for the first time. This is their first fest since then so I figured it is my first shot.

 

intially they said no growler fills on saturday but they would do them on sunday, then about a week or so ago they changed it to wed-fri only this week so the employees could have some fun at the fest instead of spending so much time filling growlers sunday

 

Isn't it just the regular wine glass they used to sell before switching to the current stemware?

 

No, it's smaller than the normal wine glass, got mine at the first BOT release, you bought the glass for samples during the release.

 

So its the tasting glasses or something bigger than that? I think I brought my own HF glass to that release so I dont remember what glass they were selling.

 

Anyone in the Boston area interested in picking me up a 750ml Ephraim? I have a fresh Dreadnaught I personally picked up from 3 Floyd's on Wednesday. I'm also interested in Prolegomena, the Flander's Red. BM me.
