Sounds like they are on the verge of opening, anyone been by there yet? Read there were samples available. Keep my fingers crossed a local brewery makes something I really love. One of these days maybe LI will have their own beer at the level of PTE, HT, Alpine, etc. would be happy with one like that.

Thanks for the heads-up. I just checked Google Maps and was surprised to find that it is located right in the heart of town- it even seems to share that rear municipal parking lot with Canterbury Ales. I have friends who live within walking distance, so I'm definitely up for a road trip when they're up and running.

Has anyone confirmed if you can visit the brewery yet?

If not, I'll check it out this weekend. I'll be in OB on Sunday.

They were open today 6/9/13. Their Facebook had it as a soft opening. They had 2 varieties... a IPA and an Amber Ale. Both beers were excellent but the Amber ale was very very good.

Your best bet is to go on their Facebook page. You can Google it and it will come up. They have a some followers..... I don't know how much people would knock them on their site but they get pretty positive comments. I personally like their amber ale... it was very odd for an amber colored beer... had a strong coffee nose and taste and it was unexpected.. a good overall beer... I recently seen a post from them that they have a wheat beer but I haven't gotten out there to try it.
