I am heading to a wedding this summer in Plymouth and was looking for information on where I could pick up some beers that I can't get in PA. Looking for NEBC, Jacks Abby, Cambridge and Wormtown. I am also looking for any other suggestions on Beers that I should not miss. Thanks.

NEBC isn't in MA at this point so you'd have to try in RI or CT. Jack's Abby and Cambridge are pretty widely available in the South Shore, though I'd say your best bet would be Longridge Wine & Spirits in Pine Hills. Wormtown is pretty much just in Boston proper with a few exceptions just outside the city. Definitely check out Driftwood Publick House while you're in town. Great bar run by great people. Not as extensive a beer list as New World Tavern but very thoughtfully put together.

Thanks for the information. Any other breweries that I should be on the look out for in the area?

Mayflower is in Plymouth. If you go to the directory page on this site you'll have a list of everything you're asking for. It's a pretty useful page.

Long Ridge Wine and Spirits and Cedarville Wine and Spirits are my two favorite area shops. A stop by Mayflower is worth the visit. Cape Cod Brewing in Hyannis makes some amazing beers and only distributes locally. Also Mystic Brewing is slowly becoming my favorite brewery in the state. Lots of great beer in this part of the state.

Agreed on Mystic and Mayflower. Mayflower's stuff is super solid and pretty much spot on representations of each style they put out. Great folks running the place too. Mystic makes some KILLER saisons. My current favorite is the Mary of the Gael (spring seasonal). They're doing a sort of side project now, too; traditional English styles called the Wigglesworth series. I've had the Lord Falconer oatmeal stout, which was damn tasty.

Not being an ass but just wanna make a couple clarifications. NEBCO pretty much pulled out of RI too. Some places have Sea Hag and 668 maybe Wet Willy and Friar but pretty sure it's all old stock. I have been to same shop in RI a few times and same 4 pack of g bot has been there since last summer. I think NEBCO is just CT now. Also Wormtown is out of Worcester so it's always in Central MA plus can be found in a ton of place in SE mass. Be Hoppy fresh is well worth picking up or finding on tap.

I think Plymouth has a Stoneforge restaurant and I thought they all re-did their tap lists.

I stand corrected on both fronts. I don't get out to Western MA and I typically only see Wormtown's stuff in the city. Where in the South East has it? I'd love to get it closer to home.

Self distributed down your way. Contact them directly. I am sure if they can they will get you some beer. They are distributed by Burke up my way. Well worth the effort!

Wormtown is always at Wines and More Mansfield. I think Yankee Attleboro carries it.

Another vote for Mystic. Mary of the Gael is top flight, though their Saison Renaud is my favorite. You can find them on the shelf throughout Eastern MA, but if you can make it to their tasting room, I highly recommend it.

    Their hours.

Thanks for all of your help. Hopefully I will be able to make it to a few of these stops and be able to try some new beers.

Foolproof and Grey Sail just hit Mass. MBC and CBC are a must.
