Being a Texan myself, I can see this being a hit for those of us in Texas who despise most beers made by the big 3 (or is it 2, meh who's counting) and also have drank the shit out of all the local craft beers around these parts, and are looking for a nice any-time beer session type lager. I plan on making Ska Mexican Logger my go-to session beer as the weather continues to warm. Just wish it would fucken hit the stores in Austin already.

Have you tried Zoe? You're in Austin, and you need to change that ASAP!!

FYI... Mexican Logger was released in Texas. I know I've seen it on shelves in ATX at one time or another.

I thought this thread was about Mexican Cake, and then when I saw it was about a Ska beer I got a sad (just joking, btw - never even heard of that beer)

I guess I'm just a sucker for the Saaz hops. That's one point that makes it sound intriguing to me. Zoe was a hit for me and I will be reaching for it again in the near future. As for Mexican Logger: my desire to try it stems from a combination of curiosity and high hopes that it will be a beer I can just enjoy a 6-pack of from time to time and not have to be wowed by high abv or any crafty-type nuances (sourness/crazy hops/german malts/what-have-you).

All that matters is that you like it.

Pour that there beer on a Tres Leches Cake and youve got one heck of a dessert. Double dessert even.

I saw it in Houston last summer. Maybe the summer before I don't remember because I didn't really care for it. Although it is a good beer for people who drink dos equis.

Pretty sure I've seen Mexican Logger sitting at Specs Downtown every day I've visited over the past year.

I saw it in Angelton 3 weeks ago at $2.50 so I tried to buy them out since it was so cheap and I needed a sessioner (as if the 20 different beers I muled there wasn't enough) for the crawfish cook off I was in at the Spec's down there. I was informed that price was PER CAN.

I really disliked Logger. I plan to have All Day and Zoe around at all times though. I can't get enough Zoe right now. It is just so well made. Should be a default BMC converter.
