I am a home brewer and craft beer fanatic. I started home brewing in June 2008, and have averaged about 20 batches per year since then. In 2012 I was lucky enough to be named Midwest Home Brewer of the Year. During that magical ride, I earned a Best Of Show title at the 2012 BABBLE Brew Off competition with my English Mild. This allowed me to brew that beer with Lanny Fetzer at the RAM Restaurant in Wheeling, IL, who in turn entered it into the 2012 GABF Pro-Am competition where we won a silver medal!

About my love of beer...I can't imagine life without the following beer styles: English Ales, Scottish Ales, and a whole range of Trappist, Abbey, and sour/funky Belgian ales.
