    My journey to craft beer was through wine. As a wine enthusiast I attended a beer vs. wine dinner pairing event in 2006. 5 courses; each paired with a wine and a beer. I chose the beer as my favorite pairing for 3 of the 5 courses, and realized I have a better palate for beer than wine.
