I live in Greenwood, Indiana, just outside of Indianapolis. I enjoy local breweries Flat 12 and Bier Brewery. I'm fond of Founders, Three Floyds, and Bell's. The best brewery you've never heard of is Bare Hands Brewery in Granger, IN. Bare Hands is worth a visit.

I love beer tourism but I'm a homer at heart and believe Indiana and Michigan are producing the best beer on the planet right now. I love stout, apa, ipa, dipa, and anything aged in a barrel. I'm experimenting more with sours, barley wine, and classic euro styles but if there is a great stout or ipa on a menu, that's typically what I'm ordering.
