    I'm a retired naval officer, working on my second career as the Student Services Director of a community campus that is part of the University of Alaska. I've been homebrewing and drinking craft beer for over twenty years. I teach a college course called The Art & History of Brewing and write a monthly beer column for The Redoubt Reporter.
