    I moved from Houston, TX to Chicago, IL the summer of '12. Since moving I have become way more interested in domestic and international craft beer than I ever have been, and I blame Chicago for spoiling me with that. I have fallen in love with so many of the local breweries and some superb Midwest breweries. My favorite styles are RIS, Barrel Aged Stouts and Barleywines, Barleywines, Sours (just getting my feet wet, but i'm ready to dive in) I am also a fan of cellaring, now that I have a basement, therefore I am always looking for things to stash in there. My favorite breweries currently are Pipeworks, Firestone Walker, Hair of the Dog, Deschutes, Russian River, Goose Island BCS series (BCS, BCBCS, and Baudoinia were among my favorite beers I tried last year)

    Breweries I am itching to try: Hillstead Farms, Ithaca, Alesmith, Brasserie Cantillon, Cascade, Crooked Stave, Foothills, The Alchemist.
