Texas again. Thunderstorms over the plains. Lubbock to San Antonio. So far, Rahr's Bucking Bock is the start.
Two interesting weeks in San Francisco. Skipped that toilet Toronado (insert evil laugh). 21 Amendment was totally jammed on an early weekday night. Church Key was jolly fun (go on a Thurs.) , but not so much to taste. Around the corner is Rogue which has a bunch of guest taps and decent prices. Interesting new stuff from Almanac and I want to taste more from Linden in Oakland. Why is SF kind of a lame beer town with the huge population of moneyed overachievers?
Salt Lake for Christmas and a chance to catch up on the Utah beers. Hello State Liquor Store!
Was in Denver for Thanksgiving week. What a haul from my favorite store, Grapevine Liquors on South Monaco. New brewpubs and micros keep springing up in Colorado.
Meanwhile in San Diego there are some slathering hopheads on the loose at Ironfire.
How bout some more decent Hefeweizens and lighter Belgian styles for thirst quenching?
This I believe:
"Give me an underground laboratory, half a dozen atom-smashers, and a beautiful girl in a diaphanous veil waiting to be turned into a chimpanzee, and I care not who writes the nation’s laws." -- S. J. PerelmanInteract
