I first got interested in beer primarily to become better at my job, which at the time was a server at a brew-pub in New Hampshire. I wanted to learn as much as I could so I could get better tips and a bigger following - ultimately to earn more money. Little did I know that I was discovering not only my favorite new hobby but a new part of my identity! I now manage a small local bar in Vermont that self identifies as an "artsy dive" - so we have all your grandpa's favorite domestics as well as the best and variant craft brews I can get my hands on.

I love anything well-crafted - and I very much dislike anything kitschy or gimmicky - I abhor those who try to take advantage of the "trend" to make money. I like to think I have a good palate for the genuine - so beer makers and beer drinkers, stand and be true
